Squatchsami is a local eatery situated on the stunning Central Oregon Coast that serves amazing fish and chips and other foods from their food truck and outpost locations. The mural that I painted showcases three thunderbirds which is an important indigenous symbol that represents protection and strength. They are rising high above the dense coastal forest and communicate a feeling of resilience. The mural also functions to tell patrons which areas are intended for employee use only.
