When I design, I don’t design for the muted box-fitters who simply want to play it safe. I design for the founder bursting with passion and a dream too big for their body. Through color, confidence, and a sh*t-ton of strategy, you will create a brand that grows big and leaves a bright mark on the world.

My story is a combo of creativity & healthy risk-taking
I STARTED AS A CRAFTY KID
Born and raised in a small town in Oregon, I started being creative when I was young. Not in a child prodigy artist way, but in a free-spirited ‘lemme make this look nice’ way. I put myself in places where I could let my creative heart run free. And that led me to OSU to get my BFA in Graphic Design.
Then, with a degree in hand, I wanted to get my hands on anything crafty. Screen printing, bookbinding, packaging design. You name it. I created it.
MIXING THE TRAVELING SPIRIT WITH THE CREATIVE MIND
Post-graduation, I set to serve as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cambodia, but the pandemic threw a wrench in that plan. So my partner and I packed our bags, moved to the Oregon coast, and turned a ‘couple of months’ move into an over-a-year chapter.
I got a job serving at a local craft brewery and an opportunity that sparked Julia Kenyon Design Studio. A multi-wall mural and a line of designed beer labels.
AND SO THE DREAM BEGINS
I continued to take on design responsibilities at the brewery, and decided to ditch the burnout-worthy world of customer service. I took on more freelance design clients and let my adventurous heart roar with the dream of entrepreneurship.
A design studio. Julia Kenyon Design Studio. The sound of it on my lips is as nice as the sweet foam on an icy cup of cold brew.
I guess it’s time to take a leap of faith. I have no idea what the f*ck I’m doing, but man, I want this so badly.
